Evolution Karate Academy – Procedure For Reporting Concerns
Student has spoken to an instructor/coach or behaved in a way that has caused concern
Accurately record what a student says or does including dates and times
Welfare officer will inform KE lead child protection officer and complete necessary KE forms within 24 hours
Share your concerns and pass records to the club welfare officer immediately
In addition to the KE forms, the welfare officer may contact appropriate authorities such as the police or local social services
It is not the responsibility of anyone within Evolution Karate Academy to investigate or decide whether child abuse has taken place.
Evolution Karate Academy will fully support anyone who reports a concern.
