CLASSES

Little Lions 3 - 5 years

Our Little Lions program is designed especially for children aged 3 to 5, offering a fun and structured introduction to martial arts.

In each class, young students build essential life skills such as listening, following instructions, teamwork, and taking turns. Alongside these important social skills, children are introduced to the fundamentals of karate with a strong emphasis on focus, discipline, and respect.

Through engaging, age-appropriate drills and playful movement, students improve their coordination, flexibility, speed, and agility, developing physical confidence in a supportive environment.

As they progress, Little Lions can earn new belts through four annual gradings, proudly showcasing what they’ve learned. After completing the full Little Lions syllabus - or when they turn 6 - they can move seamlessly into our full karate program.

Let your little one take their first confident steps into martial arts with Little Lions!

Karate Classes 6 Years +

Our karate classes for children aged 6 and up offer a dynamic blend of Korean Karate and Shotokan Karate, combining the strengths of both styles to create a rich, well-rounded martial arts experience.

Korean Karate - shaped by influences from Wado Ryu and Taekwondo - introduces powerful striking and fluid, agile movement. Shotokan Karate, a traditional Japanese style, focuses on strong stances, precise technique, and disciplined forms. Together, these styles give students a balanced foundation, helping them develop both physical skill and mental discipline.

Classes are held in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, welcoming children of all abilities - whether they’re new to karate or have trained before. Students can enjoy karate as a fun weekly activity or choose to progress through our belt-ranking system, with regular opportunities to grade and celebrate their achievements.

Through consistent training, students develop:

  • Strength & Flexibility

  • Balance & Posture

  • Coordination & Motor Skills

  • Fitness & Endurance

  • Self-Confidence

  • Discipline & Respect

  • Teamwork & Social Skills

Karate not only teaches practical self-defence - it also nurtures life skills that support children far beyond the dojo.
